Abstract

This research aims to answer the questions about; the concept of excellent madrasah or School;  the excellent madrasah/school implementation; reason of compulsion for the excellent madrasah/school construction at the moment; and governmental Support form to existence of excellent madrasah/school.

As seen from its target facet, this research have two fundamental purposes, these are: First, trying to analyse and find concept of the excellent and the competitive madrasah/school through research of survey, so that can be obtained singularity concept; Second, aim to be able to explain, how implementation conception form for the excellent and the competitive madrasah/school through research qualitative with approach of rationalistic post-positivism.

In the research context with approach of rasionalistic post-positivism have the following specific idea: 1) focusing  specific object of research in totality of holistic; 2) using manner arrange to think certainly;  3) continuing research at meaning. While intake of sample in research qualitative this can be conducted by purposive sampling. Application of this sampling purposive is that election of based subjek of certain marking which assumed have in respect of clinging with marking or nature of from population which have been known. Determination of sample started to determine the following school character a. The favorite (excellent) Madrasah Country a successed; MAN 3 Malang b. ordinary Madrasah Country but looked into favorite; MAN 3 Kediri c. Private school which is excellent designedly; SMA Darul Ulum 2 Pondok Pesantren Rejoso Jombang.

Result of this research can be presented the following: 1. Concept of the excellent Madrasah/school in fact relate at effective school termenology, that is effective, efficience, develop, accelerate, essential dan high performance school. Substantiality able to be concluded as effective and excellent school concept is school capable to formulate target and its mission better and striving it, its by powered all component school since input, process, until out put in an optimality. 2. The excellent School implementation with RSBI as project of Depdiknas RI and Madrasah planned Model with RMBI as project of Depag RI. Empirical Study express that existence of  the excellent madrasah have earned lamp of image existence of RSBI in its area. Thereby, its form of excellent madrasah more institute head (headmaster) innovation and creative. 3. Compulsion reconstruct the excellent madrasah/sekolah with reason: First, many nation child having extraordinary ability which need special treatment. Second, tight emulation make potency had by children have to be developed as maximum is. Third, the excellent education become solution most concrete to answer crisis in the world of education of national. 4. Role of government to the excellent madrasah/school which presented by Depdiknas RI and of Depag RI very is differing.  RSBI have got legalization and have had guidance of its management. While the excellent  madrasah not yet got appraisal of Depag RI with giving its legality. Appreciation give advantage: First, adding effective intrinsic motivation at internal organizer of madrasah; Second, its form given big image to the madrasah among society around.
